Hostel – Zurich has different types
of hostels nowadays. The hostels do have their own
characteristic and atmosphere that cater to different
needs of backpackers. The different between hotel
and hostel is the social atmosphere. It is a good
place to meet people from other countries.
Most Zurich Hostels now also offer
private rooms, it usually come in 2 to 4 beds, sometimes
even with en-suite WC and shower. Other facilities
they offer include internet station and some do sell
Swiss Army Knife at discount price at the reception.
Most of the Zurich Hostels congregate
at Old Town area which are walking distance from the
Main Station.

A budget hotel, that promotes itself as a “rock
hotel”. All rooms are given a rock star or group
name such Bryan Adams or Led Zeppelin. Hotel was former
medieval town house.
